Lovelle started her writing career at an early age. Being the youngest and only girl out of four children, she developed a very unique imagination and also a love for reading and writing. While she was still in elementary school, she wrote and illustrated her first children's book Beware of the Bean Burrito, which was featured in the local newspaper. She wrote her first novel Alize on the Rocks her junior year of high school and was later published in 2006. It was then that she discovered her passion for writing Hip Hop/Urban Erotica Fiction. Also in 2006, she began writing Urban Erotica short stories and hustling them in the local urban community.
Raw & Uncut: The Street Erotic Anthology is her 2nd published manuscript. She also contributed her short story A Hell of A Hard Drive to LadyElle Publishing's Chocolat Historie D'Amour Anthology. Lovelle currently resides in Florida, where she is working on her next novel.
"When I was younger, I can still remember to this day, people used to ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up. Most children said a doctor, lawyer, even an astronaut. But I was always different, I was proud to say that I wanted to be an author and I am even more proud to say that I've accomplished what I've wanted out of life. Many people cant say that. I'm doing what I always wanted to do, I'm being what I always wanted to be. Does it get any better than that?"

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Watts, California, Carrie Macon always had a dream of being a writer. She wasn’t like her siblings and friends. When the summer came she was in her room writing while they were out playing. Camping trips, she stayed home writing. Driving on the highway from Los Angeles to San Diego to visit the grandmother she was named after and her other relatives, you’d find her writing and occasionally calling out the different states on the license plates of vehicles. Riding the school bus to her alma mater, Cleveland High School in Reseda, California, you’d find her writing stories about anything and everything. No matter where she was in the world she always had a notebook and paper in her hand.
The first book she wrote was written over 10 years ago. She’s looking forward to sharing that with her readers. Kisses Don’t Lie, Just Another Lonely Knight and Give me Forever, are just a few of her released titles. She has a wide variety and wonderful selection of writings that she is anxious to get to her readers, just be patient. You’ll love what she does.
In her spare time she enjoys, reading, cooking for special occasions, baking, dancing and singing, whether it’s in the comfort of her home or in her church choir.
She enjoys playing with her grandsons and making up songs with them and her smaller great nieces and nephews. She loves her family.
We are looking for great things from this writer in the near future.
You can leave an email for Carrie at writercmacon@yahoo.com . She would love to hear from you. |
